Hi! I’m Florence. I am an illustrator/graphic designer based in Alton, Hampshire in the UK.
Some of my hobbies include:
Wonky drawings and typography | Petting dogs | Dancing in the kitchen | Going on adventures | Keeping my houseplants alive | Writing lists | Looking at houses I can’t afford | Margaritas | Photography | Hula hooping
My work is inspired by:
Colour | Food & drink | Retro aesthetics | Song lyrics | Friends & family | 3am ideas when I can’t fall asleep | Nature | Matisse
What’s important to me?
Creating work that is cheerful and puts a smile on people’s faces! | Making a house a home – as someone who rents I understand the importance of art on the walls to spruce up a room and make it your own (command strips are a godsend) | Making my work accessible and inclusive, through prices representation and values. This is something that I’m constantly learning and working on as I build my portfolio – my work is for everyone! | Respecting the gospel of David Attenborough and being kinder to the planet. Anything from my shop is printed on recycled paper and I’m working towards being 100% plastic free when selling my work (stickers and tape included!) This doesn’t mean boring though, I love gift wrapping items too much.
